We have received the following notification:On Monday, 11 August 2014, a 15 year old schoolgirl was involved in an attempted abduction outside Muizenberg School at around 14h40. She was walking home when the incident occurred. Thankfully, she eventually managed to get away.
The vehicle was a white single cab Toyota Hilux with a white canopy on the back which had no windows but had indents where the windows should be (solid shell). Registration CA864760.
The driver was a coloured male wearing all black. He had a small round face. He had short hair and a gap in-between his two front teeth.
The passenger was also a coloured male who had a longer face with pock marks/scars indented on his face around his jaws. He had greenish eyes. He was wearing a red pullover and blue jeans. He had very dark rings under his eyes and on his eyelids.
Please be cautious and aware.
The registration on the vehicle has been reported as stolen plates.
Hi Patrick – just a note that this incident was found to be falsely reported by the girl. Big Hoo Hah was made at the time it was reported and it got everyone very upset. However, the police investigation found she lied about it and this statement was made public and posted in a local paper. #useful info
