Protest action flared up again late last night and persisted through most of the night. Flare ups were quickly contained and fires causing road closures were put out promptly. The situation is still tense and on-going action is expected, per the JOC. In short:Kommetjie Road, which was closed for a while, has just been re-opened for traffic (status: 8am)
People of Masiphumelele have been allowed to go to work today (only from around 7am)
Taxis are currently operating out of Masiphumelele
