Do not pick up this woman! There are numerous recent reports of a woman scam artist who is known to be operating in our area and in the southern suburbs, primarily as a HITCHHIKER. She can be quite abusive and aggressive once in the car, demanding money, and has forcibly taken valuables (wallets, phones, etc).MO: Hitchhikes or approaches cars at all hours with a sob story asking for a lift to various places (Noordhoek, Longbeach Mall, Blue Route). Often seen on Ou Kaapse Weg, Main Road, Silvermine Roads, but also in Kirstenhof, Kalk Bay, Muizenburg.
DESCRIPTION: Dark hair, height medium to tall, slim, distinctive marks tear shaped tattoo or birthmark under her left eye, age estimate mid-20s. No photo is currently available.
